Solving the structure of AgCaVO4 from powder diffraction data with the Aeris benchtop diffractometer

Why is it important?

Solving structure from powder data remains a non trivial task. The difference between success and failure is usually related to the data quality that one can collect. Here we show that using the Aeris benchtop diffractometer, the data quality is high and is of sufficient quality that a new structure can be solved using such data.
