Experimental analysis of the dynamics of gear boxes – Part 1

What is it about?

The presented article deals with an experimental assessment of the dynamics of gears. The basic aim was to develop a methodology for assessing of dynamic behaviour of different types of gearboxes, respectively the various technological or design versions of gearboxes, under the same operating conditions; or for assessing dynamic behaviour of the same gearboxes under various operating conditions. The first part of this article describes the conceptual design of the test station, development of its mathematical model and the model for simulation by computer.
