What is it about?

We trace the diachronic development of the goal-marking preposition ‘se’ from its use to mark a range of spatial functions to its ultimate loss and replacement by zero based on Cappadocian texts. We examine the role of language contact with Turkish as well as the wider dialectological context of the phenomenon.
