What is it about?

Structural analysis programs simply soil behavior as springs. This is often too simple, however, the software cannot model it any other way. In order to work around this issue, I have made a program to replace the complicated behavior of soil with a much simpler model that can be used in standard structural analysis software.

Why is it important?

The approach allows one to use structural analysis software like Axis VM or Sap2000 and still capture a large amount of foundation behavior accurately without a lot of extra effort
