What is it about?
This paper shows that in addition to 'copula sluicing', there is a corresponding 'you 'have' sluicing' in Chinese. Both structures can be interpreted under a unified analysis, with pro subject and shi/have predicates. Besides, this work also discusses 'what else' counterpart in Chinese. The adverb hai 'still' plays a crucial role when it is in company with you 'have' in sluicing.

We have found a typological difference in shi/you sluicing between English and Chinese. Else can be expressed in a way different from English in Chinese.
