Perspectives
This piece of mastered work was part of the lead author's PhD study carried out on selected water bodies in Agbede wetlands, in Edo State, Nigeria. It was not easy carrying out the study but it became important that we must accomplish the task of adding to knowledge of inland wetlands and freshwater science in general. Therefore, I am very hopeful that this article would meet the interest of the global aquatic ecologist. The study characterised the sediments of the investigated water bodies by using multivariate approach and it is a rich archive for future related researched.
