What is it about?
The effect of a spatial cue is believed to be biphasic: facilitation with short cue-target stimulus-onset-asynchronies (SOAs) and "inhibition-of-return" with longer SOAs. Using hazard analyses we show that mean performance measures conceal crucial information about time-dispersed behavior.

Why is it important?
To understand brain (dynamical system) output we need to take into account the passage of time during data analysis.
