What is it about?
UnLynx is a decentralized system that enables queries on a set of distributed databases while protecting the privacy and confidentiality of the data providers. In order to achieve this, it relies on homomorphic encryption, differential privacy and a set of distributed protocols enabling deterministic tagging of probabilistically encrypted data, verifiable shuffle and the switching of the encryption from one key to another without decryption.

Why is it important?
Our operational system is designed to be modular such that it can be used in multiple cases. It relies on state-of-the-art security mechanism in order to enable the sharing of very sensitive data in a private and confidential way. We envision that it can be used to overcome many data sharing issues and enable the sharing of data that can usually not be shared because of their sensitivity such as medical data.
