Why is it important?

The data on the biology of many species of thrips, especially the fungivorous ones, are very scarce. This paper, together with others on species of similar lifestyle, expands the knowledge on this theme.

Perspectives

The research on fungivorous species noted in Poland are continued, among the most important are these on morphology of preimaginal stages and microbiome of all life stages.
