What is it about?
Annually, amazing amounts of algae are brought by the waves on the Romanian Black Sea beaches causing discomfort to tourists through their unpleasant appearance and smell. Thus we tried to recover the marine algae biomass and turned it by composting with other two organic wastes into an innovative fertilizer for agricultural soils.

Why is it important?
This work proposes solutions to solve two important issues: first, the management of some organic waste that poses environmental problems and second, the increase of agricultural soils fertility through organic fertilization.
