Why is it important?
For the first time, sterically stabilized nanodispersion loaded with curcumin was generated. Surfactant with as low as 1 wt/wt% was utilized. Demonstrates sustained release characteristics. Carrier stability was obtained at least for up to 90 days.
Perspectives
The outcome of this investigation makes a pathway to further utilise curcumin in a more effective way.
