What is it about?

This paper provides an explanation for similarities observed between the art of talented individuals with autism and some of the most notable european ice age art. We explain that the similarities come from a cognitive focus on detail shared by individuals with a natural talent at realistic depiction. This is a trait which is common in autism, and rare outside of autism.
