What is it about?
The aim of this article is to draw attention to the presence of sunken-floored buildings in the context of LBK villages, especially in the vicinity of typical longhouses. We discuss criteria determining sunken-floored buildings, their construction and function in the structure of the LBK settlement.

Why is it important?
