Metaphorescence in recent theology

What is it about?

The contribution explores the tendency in theology to present basic articles of faith like incarnation, resurrection, parousia as metaphors. The validity of this metaphorisation is checked against the concept of metaphor. Its problematics are shown in select examples (Jüngel, Buntfuß), which require abandoning the current tendency.
