Compliance with state charitable solicitations regulations is a somewhat complex process. Assuring that registration and reporting assist the public in avoiding scams is a challenge. This paper examines that potential and makes recommendations for improving the utility of the regulatory framework.
Perspectives
I have been studying charitable solicitations regulations for nearly 20 years and would like to see the activities of state charities officials become more effective in aiding donors.
