What is it about?
As Ronald Dworkin's approach to equality of equality involves Hypothetical Insurance this is often assumed to be applied separately to each form of bad-luck and guides monetary compensation. This paper challenges that interpretation and instead proposes that all forms of bad luck can be combined together within the scheme holistically. It also argues that, as with real insurance, the numerous possible policies to achieve the required aims should be included in the decision-making.
