Why is it important?
A student's perspective on his own mental health condition and the impact it had on school behavior is important to understand. With understanding comes opportunity to address mental health issues more effectively.
Perspectives
Completing this study helped me to be a better educator by gaining a deeper understanding of anxiety. As a person, I have more empathy and am more sensitive to this type of condition. I am able to provide a more effective learning environment for a diverse population. I hope readers will also broaden their perspectives and increase their awareness regarding students living with mental health conditions.
