What is it about?
The paper presents the technique for Monte Carlo based evaluation of the sensitivity functions for few-view computed tomography. The results show that the proposed technique overperforms the standard method based on the projection approximation.

Why is it important?
The proposed technique is especially important for few-view computed tomography of strongly absorbing media because it takes into account the effects of beam scattering and hardening directly during image reconstruction.
Perspectives
I really hope that the proposed technique will find practical application in few-view computed tomography of highly attenuating objects.
