Why is it important?
The degeneracy on the boundary of the diffusion coefficient can take place of the usual Dirichlet boundary value condition. This phenomena happens in all kinds of the degenerate parabolic equations.
Perspectives
The method used in this paper can be generalized to used in the other kinds of the parabolic equaitons and the similar results can be obtained.
