What is it about?

Some 1500 healty over sixty years elderly gave a small amount of blood on which standard lab tests were done. We looked for possible differences of normal values when we get older (www.seniorlabor.ch). (tap on the microscope icon to get answers in English.)

Why is it important?

In geriatrics, by the way like in pediatrics, referencing of lab results must be made to normal values established with healthy age peers.

Perspectives

Following up the participants might reveal risk factors and confirm/reject selected biomarker values
