What is it about?
Statistical models may help to understand the reality, even in sport and, precisely, in soccer. Choosing a model for describing the soccer performance of a bunch of players is the main task of this paper.

This is the first attempt to model the soccer performance arising from a famous Italian fantasy game according to a Bayesian perspective.
Perspectives
Writing this paper with Jonah Gabry made me feel more comfortable with some important statistical tools and offered me the opportunity to link together statistical models and football.
