What is it about?

Listening and reading skills, as receptive skills, can help learners improve their speaking ability. Bombarding learners with listening or reading materials could be helpful. This study explores which one of the techniques (listening or reading) is more useful for improving accuracy and fluency in speaking.

Why is it important?

Speaking a second or a foreign language is very important for learners. Being able to communicate is the ultimate goal of any language learner. The study explores two different techniques which can contribute to the speaking ability of EFL learners.

Perspectives

Doing a research on speaking skill via two different modes of input was very difficult but I enjoyed it and I hope it will attract other researchers' attention.
