What is it about?
In this paper we studied how regularized modeling can improve density current simulations. We were able to obtain good results in coarse mesh simulations.

Why is it important?
It is important because we proposed and analysed an accurate scheme in order to apply regularized modeling in density current simulations in which we show it produced accurate results in coarse meshes.
Perspectives
Our next step is to apply this scheme in more complex test cases and test it in three-dimensional simulations.
