Why is it important?
To date, no study has reported the in vivo antitumor activity of T. orientalis extracts on an animal model. Considering this possibility, the current study aimed to investigate the in vivo chemotherapeutic effects of the T. orientalis leaves crude methanol extract (TLME) for its anticancer activity on Ehrlich ascites carcinoma (EAC) in Swiss albino mice.
Perspectives
The prospect of this research is the identification and isolation of active components for therapeutic agents against cancer.
