What is it about?

Sonochemical degradation has the promising technology for degradation of reclariant compounds like phenol. However, this technology is a limited application for large scale operation due to lack of design correlation. Present work highlighted on correlating the theoretical and experimental approach. The process was optimized based on bubble dynamics equations and experimental work. The promising results work will be highly useful to engineers for a large design scale sonochemical reactor.

Why is it important?

The dynamic bubble analysis is used to get insights into the sonochemical effects. This equation is useful for information on a number of water and pollutant molecules produced in the sonochemical reactor. Results of experimental findings correlated with theoretical work.

Perspectives

Present work is useful for large scale sonochemical reactor design.
