What is it about?

This paper aims at converting the integer or fractional order linear time-varying optimal control problem with quadratic criteria to the quadratic programming problem which can be solved by using any of the quadratic programming techniques.

Why is it important?

The efficiency of the method presented by this paper in handling constrained fractional control problems is obvious: the way to solve this kind of optimal control problems is the same, and even compared to the solution of the unconstrained version we do not have to change a lot of inputs of the algorithm.
