Perspectives

In the prologue to this volume, Zienkowski indicates that this collective volume is far from exhaustive (regarded as a shortcoming) and might fail to encompass all pertinent approaches to discourse, such as those presented under the headings of post-structuralist discourse analysis, discursive psychology, or conversation analysis. Those mentioned gaps might be filled in future updates of the Handbook.
