What is it about?

This work can be of interest to users of computational modeling when solving problems involving thermal radiation. It uses the non-gray weighted-sum-of-gray-gases (NWSGG) model to predict radiative properties that in turn are needed to integrate the radiative transfer equations in space.

Why is it important?

This work takes into account that chemical composition of air-fuel combustion can be very different from those under oxy-fuel combustion.

Perspectives

One of the features of this work is that it compares the performance of more than one existing model proposed in the literature. This may guide the general user to which model is more suitable.
