What is it about?
The publication is devoted to the problem of miscommunication resulting from not adjusting the translation to the knowledge and communication needs of translation recipients. It also deals with the problem of observing one of the human rights which is a right to communicate in a language one understands as well as a right to have an interpreter appointed.

Perspectives
Relativization of the target text is one of the most frequently neglected aspects of translation practice. Some insight into the consequences of such a state of affairs may increase the quality of translation and interpreting. It may also contribute to the observance of human rights.
