What is it about?

One of the reactors that are applied in biotechnological processes is airlift reactor, due to the characteristics that make it up, allowing the cutting efforts to decrease and not affect the microorganisms or the cells, likewise it can be manipulated to extract from the fermentation broth the products of interest, such as antioxidants, pigments, enzymes, among others.

Why is it important?

This study is important because it is possible to appreciate what the dynamic behaviour inside the reactor is and to make studies of scaling up the process.

Perspectives

This study has allowed us to share the results of our research and believe that through this journal, with its wide audience we have managed to disseminate these valuable technical-scientific data of wide interest in the various areas of chemical engineering.
