What is it about?

Agencies are major role player in the US, in terms of their rulemaking power. We have shown that the three branches of government are nowadays trying to curtail such a power in a move to block rulemaking.

Why is it important?

Our findings show that agencies' power expand in times of congress gridlock, while it is easily curtailed when the Congress and the President act together to reduce aganies' margin of appreciation.

Perspectives

We hope this article shows how legal system develops when they try and reach accomodation between the major players.
