Well-being in the entrepreneurial process

What is it about?

Since positive emotions can nurture individual’s strengths, this study thus extends and draws upon the theory of self-determination by incorporating well-being and entrepreneurship studies to understand how well-being plays as a critical role to stimulate motivation for further capability building in creative industries.

Why is it important?

The existing research on well-being has primarily regarded it as a core driver of organizational outcome, especially for organizations in a more competitive environment. This study tests the mediating effect of well-being on the process of opportunity recognition and absorptive capacity.
