The study contributes to the extant LULCC studies by adopting a descriptive survey approach to explain the bi-directional association between forest degradation and climate change in the Ejisu-Juaben Municipality.

Perspectives
The study findings draws attention to the rapid deforestation activities witnessed in the Ejisu-Juaben Municipality by offering a substantive reason which deviates sharply from the known causes of deforestation in the area. Hence, for future policies targeted at reducing deforestation activities in the region to be successful, there is the need to include the views and opinions of the community members due to the direct use of forest resources
