What is it about?

Polymeric nanoparticle poly(ethylene glycol)-block-polylactide methyl ether (PEG-b-PLA NP) has been designed as a carrier for poorly water-soluble drugs to improve their pharmacokinetics and overcome multidrug resistance. We have shown for the first time that PEG-b-PLA NP may alter in vitro functional state (steroid hormone secretion) and viability of ovarian granulosa cells (GCs).
