What is it about?
The paper is aimed at evaluating the creation of territorial systems of ecological stability in two neighbouring countries – Slovakia and Poland. The paper evaluates various initiatives and approaches and their positives and negatives.

It represents methodical approaches to the creation of territorial systems of ecological stability as well as the legal provision of ecological networks in both countries.
Perspectives
The ecological network is one of the concepts that could be a response for environmental management and protection. As with any concept implementation, there could appear some problems. Thereby, we could mention about advantages and disadvantages of ecological network implementation in each country. The outcome of the evaluation is the proposal for the necessary measures to improve the situation.
