What is it about?
Discourse and Knowledge: A Sociocognitive Approach is the first book adopting a multidisciplinary approach to explore the relationship between these two concepts. The author systematically examines the myriad of related aspects of discourse and knowledge studied in epistemology, cognitive and social psychology, sociology, anthropology and linguistics, with a wide range of examples. By doing this, the author not only skillfully bridges the gap between discourse and knowledge through the sociocognitive approach, but also successfully sketches out a multidisciplinary theoretical framework of discourse and knowledge.
