Why is it important?

Informed classroom assistants/language interns can provide support in any second/foreign language classroom, especially where funded Teaching Assistants are not possible.

Perspectives

Both the classroom assistants and their language supervisors have a unique opportunity to apply what they know and gain perspectives and deeper insights into their understanding of L2 pedagogy and opportunities in supporting L2 learners' efforts.
