What is it about?
Sweat conductivity testing has been used as a simplified test to exclude cystic fibrosis (CF). However, the collection process requires a high level of attention to detail which is not necessarily conducive to point of care testing. A review of data shows a decline in the use of this test and we conclude this is no longer an adequate test for CF screening.
