What is it about?

Noklus has developed a consensus-based scoring system for when and how to analyze internal quality control on point of care testing devices in primary healthcare. The system includes four factors that significantly impact the frequency: 1) The importance of the analyte in diagnosing and monitoring patients, 2) type of point of care testing device, 3) the user-friendliness, and 4) the number of patient samples performed. The recommended frequencies for 153 analyte-device combinations are presented. The scoring system can easily be adopted to other local environments and is easy to use.
