What is it about?

Platelet satellitism (PS) is a rare phenomenon that is demonstrated by rosette formations of platelets around white blood cells. This phenomenon leads to pseudothrombocytopenia. The author has demonstrated a case with PS and platelet clumping. Interestingly, vortex mixing can alleviate pseudothrombocytopenia in this case.
