What is it about?

Bioactive glasses are thought to be promising regenerative materials in the field of periodontology and implant dentistry. We have shown that zinc doped bioactive glass inhibit the periodontal pathogens, which are one the primary causes for the failure and infection of bone grafts used in oral implantology.
