Why is it important?

The increasing digitization of human behaviour also changes libraries. New media formats such as e-books call for new strategies and responsibilities. In addition, the boundaries between analogue and digital world mix up more and more. To take advantage out of this mixture, libraries have to activate new target groups, which can be done for instance by gaming with mobile devices. This article reports about some practical experiences using the educational app Actionbound at very different kind of public libraries.
