What is it about?
Distinguishes between different types of vocational training (technical, business, and health/social) and different types of skills (language, math, and overall grades ~ noncognitive). Models completion of each type of VET as a function of skills and a large complement of control variables, controlling for enrollment and censoring. We use two cohorts of graduates from Danish compulsory education.

Why is it important?
The results indicate that different skills may be important for success in different Vocational Training programs (VET). This finding has important policy implications. Admissions requirements for VET programs should be tailored to the type of program.
