What is it about?

The article about the study model of the Stuttgart Media University examines how the Bachelor’s programme library and information management became part of the development of the department of information and communication into a “transformative department” which is characterized by a different teaching focus. It can be described by the following concepts: from the application of tools towards method competences, key competences as essential training components as well as project-orientated training forms and interdisciplinarity as core elements of teaching.
