What is it about?

A comparison of five chapters about different dimensions of pluralisation. The selected cases and approaches show first the broadening of the range of ways in which participants engage with religion. The mere multiplication of practices used in communicating with the divine, as well as the media used in such activities, need not imply the criticism of existing forms, need not imply crises or even conversion, but opens up the possibility of individual selection on the basis of inclinations or preferences.
