What is it about?
The jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court is limited to most serious crimes of concern to the entire international community that threaten security, peace and well-being of the world. This article argues that serious economic offences should belong in this group, as other inhumane acts, when threshold of crimes against humanity is fulfilled.

Why is it important?
The article gives reasons for international criminalization of serious economic crimes - without needing to amend the ICC Statute and gives criteria for international criminalzation of those crimes.
Perspectives
I do hope that this article will contribute to understanding and implementation of the new Policy of the Office of the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court and on possible treatment of serious economic crimes as other inhumane acts in national and regional statutes.
