What is it about?
The retrieving of linguistic data is crucial for the accuracy of diachronic linguistic studies. In this paper I explore some examples from editions and manuscripts of Medieval Portuguese and I claim that it is relevant to take into consideration every possible detail of the textual traditions and of the editorial criteria.
