Why is it important?
It has been found that atorvastatin increases body weight and blood glucose levels among diabetic and non-diabetic but the effect is more among the diabetic patients. This need further follow-up for atorvastatin users either diabetic or non-diabetic .
Perspectives
I hope this article will help the health care providers to start a new plan in providing care for atorvastatin patients and it will increase awareness of those patients. Also, it will open a new window in statins research.
