What is it about?

This paper measured the production cross section (probability of production) of Re isotopes (181Re, 182Re, 183Re and 184Re) when a piece of tungsten is bombarded with low energy proton (8-20 MeV). This paper not only measured the production cross section but also prescribed simple separation technique of minuscule amount of Re isotopes from the tungsten target./

Why is it important?

In this article both the production cross section and separation methods of no-carrier-added 181-184 Re isotopes have been given.

Perspectives

I must say that I am grateful to the reviewers. This paper was not in this shape. In fact I learned a lots from the reviewers to bring it in the final form.
