What is it about?
In 1994 the World Health Organization (WHO) gave a definition on central life skills for health promotion with children and teens. Twenty years later the WHO provided a basis document on life skills as a component in health education at schools. Life skills programs are central to the prevention of addictive and aggressive behavior in children and teens. Particularly for diet- or physical activity-related preventive interventions, they still have a great deal of untapped potential.
